You're not drinking enough, and you don't even know it

This is the most common and underestimated deficit in home workouts. At the gym, there's a water fountain and people around who are drinking. At home, you start, you keep going, and an hour later you realize you haven't had a single drop.

Just a two percent loss of hydration is enough to significantly decrease performance. You don't feel it as thirst — you feel it as a set going badly, an end to the session that's harder than expected, a headache in the late afternoon.

AquaShark solves this with visibility. It's a dumbbell-shaped, graduated water bottle that you place on the floor next to you. It looks like equipment, so it stays in your line of sight. You see the water level drop, you know where you stand.

Which capacity to choose

The benchmark: an adult needs about 1.5 to 2 liters per day, and you need to add 500 ml to 1 liter on training days.

1.5 L — the most versatile size. Covers a non-training day or a long session.
2.2 L — a full day with a workout. The best compromise between autonomy and carrying weight.
2.6 L — for those who want to fill it once in the morning and not think about it again. Note that when full, it weighs 2.6 kg.

If you're unsure, go for the 2.2 L. It corresponds to the actual need for a day with sports, and it remains portable.

What it is, and what it isn't

It's a water bottle. Its primary function is to make you drink, and it fulfills that well.

Filled to 2.6 liters, it weighs 2.6 kilograms — enough for warm-up curls, light lateral raises, or mobility work. This is a real bonus, not a sales pitch.

Don't rely on it for serious training. The cap isn't designed to withstand ballistic movements, and a bottle that opens in the middle of a set means a soaked floor. For real weight, look at AquaStorm or AquaNess — they are made for that.

Three habits that change everything

Fill it the evening for the next day. In the morning, the decision is already made. It's the same principle as preparing your sports gear the night before.
Place it with your equipment, not in the kitchen. What's in sight gets used. What's put away is forgotten.
Set a mid-day marker. If you haven't reached halfway by 2 PM, you'll catch up by drinking too much at once in the evening — which is pointless.

Care

Rinse with lukewarm water after each day, and wash completely once a week with a bottle brush. The neck is wide enough for a brush.

No dishwasher, no boiling water. PET deforms above 60°C. And empty it if you're leaving for several days: stagnant water in a closed bottle becomes a bacterial culture in four days.

Your questions about AquaShark

Does it leak?

It has a screw cap with a seal. Tighten it completely before putting it in a bag — just like any other bottle. In an upright position, no problem.

Is the plastic safe?

It's food-grade, BPA-free PET, the same material as commercial water bottles. It won't transfer taste as long as you respect the temperature limit.

Can I put something other than water in it?

Cold drinks without pulp, yes. Avoid hot drinks, juices with pieces, and very sugary liquids — these leave a film that's hard to clean and promote bacteria.

Does it fit in a bike bottle cage?

The 500 ml, yes. The larger capacities no — their dumbbell shape is wider than a classic water bottle. They are designed to be placed, not attached.

Can I really train with it?

For warm-ups and light work, yes — 2.6 kg when full. For real strength training, no, and we prefer to say it: the cap is not designed for fast movements. Look at AquaStorm instead.

Is it dishwasher safe?

No. PET deforms above 60°C. Hand wash with lukewarm water and a bottle brush.

How long does the water stay cool?

It's not an insulated bottle — the water will reach ambient temperature in one to two hours. If you want it cold all day, this is not the right product.

Are the three colors identical?

Strictly the same product. Black is the most discreet, while red and blue are immediately noticeable in a shared gym bag.

What if it doesn't suit me?

Thirty days to return it, beyond the fourteen-day legal right of withdrawal. Unused, in its original condition — for obvious hygiene reasons, a used bottle cannot be returned.

Returns

You have the legal right of withdrawal of 14 days. We voluntarily extend this to 30 days from receipt.
The item must be in its original, unused condition, with its tags.
