Terms of service
Article 1 — Purpose
These terms of use govern access to and use of the site sportivearena.com, published by Sportivearena.
They are separate from the terms of sale, which govern the purchase of products. If the two documents conflict on a point relating to an order, the terms of sale prevail.
By browsing the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Article 2 — Access to the site
The site is accessible free of charge, 7 days a week, except when interrupted for maintenance, updates or force majeure.
We do everything we can to keep the site available, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted access. Internet access and equipment costs remain yours.
Article 3 — Customer account
Creating an account is not required in order to buy. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. If your account is used without authorisation, tell us straight away at info.contact@sportivearena.com.
You can delete your account at any time by asking us. Deleting the account does not affect orders in progress or our accounting retention obligations.
Article 4 — Prohibited uses
It is prohibited to use the site:
- for unlawful purposes or to incite others to commit an unlawful act;
- to transmit viruses, malicious code or anything liable to harm how the site works;
- to collect or extract data on a mass scale, in particular by unauthorised automated means;
- to attempt to access our systems without authorisation, circumvent our security measures, or test them for weaknesses without our written agreement;
- to harass, defame, insult or discriminate against a person or group, in any way whatsoever;
- to impersonate a third party or publish false information.
Failing to respect these rules may lead to your access being suspended, without prejudice to any legal proceedings.
Article 5 — User-published content
If you publish a review, a comment or any other content on the site, you remain the owner of that content and grant us the free, non-exclusive right to display, reproduce and adapt it in order to promote the site and our products.
You warrant that this content is yours, that it infringes no third-party right and that it is neither unlawful, defamatory nor offensive.
We may remove any content plainly contrary to these terms or to the law, without this amounting to a general obligation on us to monitor.
Article 6 — Intellectual property
All elements of the site, including text, photographs, illustrations, logos, trade marks, layouts and source code, are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and remain the exclusive property of Sportivearena or its partners.
Any reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written permission, constitutes an infringement punishable under articles L335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.
You may consult the site and reproduce extracts from it strictly for your own private use.
Article 7 — Accuracy of information
We take great care over the information published on the site, in particular product descriptions, dimensions and usage limits. Errors or omissions nonetheless remain possible.
If an obvious error affects the price or description of a product after your order, we will tell you as soon as possible and you may choose between keeping the order at the corrected price or cancelling it with a full refund.
Content about physical training published on the site and on the blog is provided for information only and does not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional if you have any doubt about your fitness to exercise.
Article 8 — Links to third-party sites
The site may link to third-party sites, in particular social networks or payment services. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for them. Visiting them is governed by their own terms of use.
Article 9 — Liability
Our liability arises on the terms set out by French law. Nothing in these terms may limit or exclude the liability that falls on us as of right, in particular under article L221-15 of the French Consumer Code, nor deprive you of the legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects.
We are not, however, liable for damage resulting from use of the site or of a product contrary to its purpose, to the instructions supplied or to the usage limits stated.

You can change your cookie choices at any time from the site's consent banner.
Article 11 — Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms at any time. The version that applies is the one online at the time of your visit. We invite you to check it regularly.
Article 12 — Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, you may contact us directly at info.contact@sportivearena.com to look for an amicable solution. Failing agreement, you keep the right to bring the matter before the competent court, including that of your place of residence, in accordance with article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code.
