3. What the site does

Sportivearena is an online shop selling fitness equipment and accessories for home use at a distance. The products offered ship from partner warehouses located outside France, which explains the delivery times shown on each product page and in our shipping policy.

4. Intellectual property

Every element making up the site, including text, photographs, illustrations, logos, videos, layouts and product names, is protected by the French Intellectual Property Code.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, by whatever means, without prior written permission, constitutes an infringement punishable under articles L335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Some product images are supplied by our suppliers and used with their agreement in order to sell their items.

The data collected on the site (identity, contact details, delivery address, order history, browsing data) is processed to manage orders, handle the customer relationship, secure payments and, with your consent, send commercial communications.

5.1 Transfers outside the European Union

We tell you openly that running the site involves transfers of personal data outside the European Union:

  • Shopify (Canada), site hosting and order processing. Canada benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
  • Google (Google Analytics 4) (United States), audience measurement, only after your consent has been obtained.
  • Our suppliers and partner carriers, notably in China, the United Kingdom, the United States and Singapore, for preparing and shipping your order. Only the data strictly necessary for delivery is passed on to them (name, postal address, contact details).

These transfers are governed by the safeguards set out in chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where the receiving country does not benefit from an adequacy decision.

5.2 Retention periods

Order data is kept for as long as needed to process it, then archived in line with legal accounting and tax obligations. Prospecting data is kept for 3 years from the last contact.

5.3 Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability set out in articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and the right to give directions on what happens to your data after your death.
